Google Alerts can be useful in several ways. You can register for alerts on topics that you’re interested in, like accounting or technology news.
One thing I highly recommend is making an alert for your name and your business’s name. For example, I have created an alert with “Anne Wilhoite” set to email me when any new items featuring my name show up in Google’s search engine. If you have a more common name, try adding your location to limit the results (for example- “Ryan Williams” Valdosta).
